A Charming Retreat in the Heart of Stone Town
The staff were really good, always ready to help. Breakfast offered fresh fruit juice and very nice local dishes. Just a tip, come prepared for some stairs. Loved the heritage charm here.

Exceptionally good views, we did not want to leave there.
The room was spacious, immaculate and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The location was marvellous and unbeatable, very close to a ferry port. Had a truly memorable stay of Zanzibar town and would want to stay there again.

Stayed here for 3 days, thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, it was fairly clean with great location by the ferry. Location: the property was so close to historical Stone Town, the beach and the promenade, and especially the night market. There was a gourmet restaurant nearby. The staff was charming and lovely, nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was satisfactory and the food was appetising.

The room was spacious and filled with character, with air conditioning, a large private bathroom, and a comfy seating area. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the waterfront. The room I stayed in, Sultana, was fine with a lovely balcony and a spacious bathtub! The staff made every effort to be helpful. I particularly enjoyed the delicious passion and avocado juice, refreshing after a day of exploring. The city view from the balcony offered a good ambiance.
